đ 60,000+ people reminded me why soil matters.
The smallest details often carry the biggest impact.
I didnât expect this.
A short comment I made on LinkedIn about soil drew in more than 60,000 views.
Why? Because the message was simple:
A lot happens beneath the surface that we donât see.
And when it comes to soil, those invisible processes determine whether life flourishes or fails.
Hereâs the science behind it:
Soil with life, full of fungi, worms, and microorganisms, recycles, regenerates, and builds resilience.
Soil without life? It compacts, starves, and collapses.
That process is called bioturbation.
Itâs what keeps ecosystems fertile and thriving.
Without it, everything stagnates.
With it, growth becomes inevitable.

Hereâs the business lesson.
We often ignore the unseen systems inside our organisations:
- Culture.
- Processes.
- Communication.
But just like healthy soil, these invisible foundations are what keep everything alive.
Ignore them, and things stagnate.
Nurture them, and growth becomes inevitable.
Thatâs why leaders who embed sustainability at the foundations, not as an add-on, create resilience that lasts because real transformation doesnât start on the surface.
It starts below it.
đ If youâre ready to strengthen the unseen systems in your business, I can help.
