🍃 California pulled off a climate win

It’s not often you come across climate news that actually feels hopeful, but this one did.

California’s dairy farms have just achieved one of the largest agricultural emission cuts anywhere in the world, reducing methane by the equivalent of 5 million tons of CO₂ every year.

And they didn’t do it by scaling back production.

They did it by thinking differently.

By turning cow manure into renewable energy, redesigning how waste is managed, and improving herd efficiency, they’ve shown what happens when innovation meets intention.

Cleaner air, stronger local economies, and renewable power all from one of the most unlikely sources.
