🍃 I’ve started working on my second book

I've started working on my second book and it’s been interesting revisiting conversations I've had with manufacturing leaders over the last 25 years.

As I've been going through my notes, case studies, and client work, one theme keeps appearing.

Most businesses are struggling because things gradually become more complicated.

Processes get added.

Reports multiply.

Systems stop talking to each other.

Workarounds become permanent.

And before anyone notices, leaders lose visibility over where value is being created and where it's quietly leaking away.

That's one of the reasons I wrote Making Sustainability Profitable.

I wanted to make sustainability feel less like a reporting exercise and more like a practical way to improve operations, reduce waste, and strengthen business performance.

Those ideas feel even more relevant today than they did when I first wrote the book.
