đ The largest polluter in the world...
You won't believe this!

Did you know?
Each year, up to 92 million tons of clothing end up in landfills, and globally, only 20% of textiles are collected for reuse or recycling.
(Threads Monthly, UNEP)
The big idea:

The fashion industry is one of the largest polluters in the world.
BUT, circular fashion aims to change that by promoting reuse, recycling and sustainable production practices.
Brands like Patagonia and Stella McCartney are leading the way by encouraging customers to repair and use for longer, return old clothes for recycling and by using recycled materials.
Buying high quality, repair and making use of it for as long as possible is essential.
Choosing second hand clothing and supporting brands with sustainable practices can reduce the environmental impact of fashion a lot!

Tip of the week:
Repair and remake
When the zipper gives up or you make a small tear it can, in most instances, be fixed! And your lovely piece of garmin is as good as new.
Feeling your garmin is out of fashion?
A growing number of tailors and creatives redo existing clothes to create unique new pieces.
Instead of buying new, spend the money on repairing or upgrading and it can bring you something unique or just keep that beloved jacket alive.
And I can promise you, it will feel good as an added bonus!
