The world's mangrove forests are making a comeback.
For decades, mangroves have been disappearing around the world. That's been the headline for years.
But new research shows something much more encouraging.

Over the last 16 years, restoration efforts and conservation programmes have helped reverse some of that decline.
In many areas, mangrove forests are becoming healthier and denser again.
As you know, mangroves are incredibly important ecosystems.
They protect coastlines from storms, support marine life, and absorb large amounts of carbon from the atmosphere.
What I found most interesting wasn't the recovery itself.
It was how it happened.
There wasn't one breakthrough that suddenly changed everything.
Just lots of people, organisations, and communities doing the right things consistently over a long period of time.
It reminded me of something I see inside businesses too.
