🍃 What if the solution to deforestation was... coconuts?

This simple idea could save 200 million trees

Across Asia, billions of coconuts are harvested every year… and their husks are usually burned as waste.

But one company looked at that overlooked, smoky pile of leftovers and asked a different question:

What if this could replace wood?

That’s how Cocopallet was born.

Their founder, Michiel Vos, developed a way to press discarded coconut husks into strong, biodegradable shipping pallets.

And the ripple effect is huge:

  • Every coconut pallet replaces a wooden one.

  • Every husk reused reduces open burning.

  • Every farmer earns more from what used to be thrown away.
