🍃 Why Impact Circle has different tiers

And how leaders usually know which level of support they need

One of the questions I’m asked most often is this:

“Why does Impact Circle have different tiers?”

It’s a fair question and the answer has very little to do with features or access.

It has everything to do with where leaders usually are when they arrive.

Why one size never fits leadership

Over the years, I’ve worked with leaders at very different points in their sustainability journey.

Some are still finding their footing.

Some have momentum, but need focus.

Some are ready to move fast and don’t want to make costly mistakes along the way.

What I’ve learned is simple:

The challenge is matching the right level of support to the reality leaders are facing right now.

That’s why Impact Circle isn’t a single track.

It’s a structure that meets leaders where they are and supports them as they progress.

The thinking behind the tiers

Each tier inside Impact Circle exists to support a different leadership moment.

It’s not about a status level or a badge of progress, but rather a moment:

- When clarity is missing and everything feels noisy

- When direction exists, but execution feels scattered

- When ambition is high and the cost of getting it wrong feels real

Rather than forcing everyone through the same process, the tiers allow leaders to get the depth of guidance, pace, and accountability that actually helps.

Some leaders need space to think and connect dots.

Others need acceleration, challenge, and sharper decision-making.

A few need hands-on support to move fast with confidence.

The tiers reflect that reality.

How leaders usually move through Impact Circle

Most leaders don’t join with a fixed destination in mind.

They arrive with questions.

“Where should I focus first?”

“How do I bring others with me?”

“What’s the smartest next move for the business?”

As clarity grows, needs change.

- What started as exploration becomes prioritisation.

- What felt complex becomes structured.
- What felt risky becomes strategic.

The tiers exist to support that natural progression without pressure, comparison, or artificial timelines.

What leaders are ultimately working towards

Regardless of tier, leaders inside Impact Circle tend to work towards the same outcomes:

- Clarity of vision and confidence of direction, anchored in business strategy.

- A focused roadmap driving measurable results across profit and purpose.

- Stronger leadership alignment and a revitalised culture.

- Tangible wins in innovation, efficiency, relevance, and competitiveness.

- A future-proofed company doing the right thing the smart way.

Choosing the right level of support

There’s no test. No checklist. No “right” tier to start with.

The right place is simply the one that helps you move forward with confidence.

If you ever want to talk it through privately, you can reply with ‘CLARITY’, and I’ll help you think it through.

See you next week,
